I have had my machine for a couple of years within the first year the central spindle sheared and damaged the blade it was sent for repair.The same problem has just happened but I live in Italy and can't find a way of repairing it. Also the bowl leaks over the top when blending soups or liquids and the lid is extremely tight fitting and difficult to open and close. I'm really disappointed I had a smaller model for years with no problems,I think the machine is unsuitable for constant use,and agree with a previous comment it needs to go back to the drawing board.
