Good Points
Friendly and patient staff, good horses and ponies and generally good atmosphere at school.
Bad Points
Daughter who is studying at equine college was asked to work at Barnston on consecutive Sundays which she did for a month. The owner when asked about payment for her services was evasive, eventually saying that she would not receive a wage until he was satisfied she was comitted to the job! This after a month of Sundays, 8am to 4pm (remember she is an equine student!). Sadly his attitude resulted in our withdrawing or daughters from the school, so be aware that if your child is asked to work there you need to ascertain whether there will be any financial reward , as a slave labour attitude seems to prevail with the current owner. Beware!
General Comments
Both Daughters have ridden at Barnston Riding School for a number of years and greatly enjoyed their experience.
