After insuring my dog with direct line pet insurance for 4 yrs i want customers to know that getting cheaper pet insurance is not always the best i put through a claim for glad operation , unknown to me was if the vet has even touched your pet in that region its classed as start of problem even if there wasnt one , no sign of infection just a routine check and squeeze , a problem started 2010 and even then still no infection but advised may be good idea to have them removed just incase they cause diconfort to your pet having them done alot ,I was told they they would not pay as it has been longer than 12 months , i was totaly disgusted with the company and now have gone bsck to pet plan who with the same information has not put any exclusions on the new policy , my advise if you love your dog dont trust Direct Line , I'm just glad it was'nt any thing major
