Having insured my golden retriever for the last 12 years with DL, they are now taking the mick, £540 to fully insure or £490 to cover vet fees only. What starts off as reasonably priced cover ends up stupid with no flexability, they wont take into account that we have never claimed on this policy. So I am paying more for my dog than I am paying for 2 cars, are they abusing the fact that we love our pets?
