We had a Dobermann who we sadly lost just over a year ago. He was insured with Direct Line, we'd claimed for skin problems etc throughout. they were uite slow in paying out but always paid. When we lost our dog we called to inform them, the payments took 3 months to stop, then they took another 6 months paying us back for what they should not have taken, but a year later they called us to ask why we had cancelled the insurance and if we would consider rejoining, I told them again why we had cancelled, and the ladies response was 'would you consider insuring any future pets with us?' This caused lots of upset so I would never recommend them.
