Direct line will continue to fob you off!!! DO NOT USE THEM. They sent me a cheque for £8.25 for refund of a kennel cough vaccine - my dog hadnt even had kennel cough!!!! The claim was for ongoing steroid treament for a potetially dangerous condition called everted saccules ( £500 claim).

When challenged, they said a veternary underwriter had studied the history and come to the conclusion the problem was due to kennel cough!!! Our odg has regular vaccinations for this and has never had or been diagnosed with kennel cough - they continually try to get out of paying any claim - DO NOT USE THEM!!!! They claim to deal with your claims in 24 days - its been 41 now and still they try to fob us off - we are taking them to court and I encourage anyone to do the same! They play on the fact we will do anything for our pets and in a stressful time such as a pets illness they try to evade payment so you will not pursue a claim - OUTRAGEOUS!!!!! We will see them in court first!
