Good Points
Makes good coffee but buy ready ground coffee as machine does not have enough pressure if coffee is ground too finely. I have been able to get the crema from the good expensive coffees. Never breaks and is never temperamental. Owned it since 2002 and is great for people who just need a good coffee before work.

Bad Points
Space is cramped for a mug (but then mugs are for instant coffee!). I cannot froth milk with this machine to save my life. Tried many times but to no avail so I froth my milk in a plunger!
Is not pretty and has too much plastic (but is solid and has good heaviness to it). And will never make cafe style coffee.

General Comments
This is a light-duty machine for people who do not want to impress and will be faithful to you for years (mine is now 5-6 years old and going strong with little care... but we have good water in South Africa).

Heats up quickly so is ready in no time. But am moving on to something beautiful and more professional and will keep this machine at a 2nd home or for holidays away (does not deserve to be locked away in a dusty garage)
