I would advise all people reading this to avoid using the Megabus company. Yes the fares are very cheap but in order to ensure cheap fares they seem to have sacrificed the entire concept of customer service.
When trying to claim a refund for a journey, I was given specific instructions on how to proceed, these were then followed to the letter, only for me to receive no reply. After more chasing, I recived a one line, unnamed email telling me I wasn't entitled to a refund and when I asked why the contradictory information had been given, I was again ignored.
Any company worth dealing with can offer simple decency when it comes to customer service - Megabus is clearly not worth dealing with!
