The Xtrema 2 is a winner in all aspects. I have tried it in several birds hunting and trap shooting games and it is one of the best beretta's I've ever shot. I've been shooting Beretta's since my first hunting trip going from the O/U (my dad's shotgun) till the latest Xtrema 2, and I can say you will never regret in getting one for yourself. One of the good advantages it does not need cleaning like most of the gaz shotguns, you can shoot thousands of shots through it without cleanning. The one I have it got the Kick OFF option and it helps a lot with the 3 1/2" magnum shots.
