Baggage delayed 36 hours
Baggage damaged and an item missing on arrival
Items within the baggage broken
Told I wouldn't be compensated for the damaged bag or goods.
Unacceptable customer service they take 40 minutes to answer the phone then fob you off when they finally do!
Short flight from Heathrow to Manchester. Arrived in Manchester to be told baggage was missing and there was no record of it at Manchester. Told to wait 24 Hours. Had to contact BMI baggage department who are rather unhelpful. Bag arrived 36 hours later damaged with contents broken and damaged and an item was also missing. Was then told there would be compensation for the missing item. But the bag was deemed unsuitable by a baggage handler therefore there would be no further compensation.
