Took the family here yesterday, was abit unsure after reading the reviews. HOWEVER we had a fantastic day, my 2 year old loved it with lots to see and do. I admit you need the weather, but dont you for anything you wish to do outside. My son walked all round so the hills are not that bad,it makes it more adventurous. Dirty, its not dirty and very well looked after. Yes it could do with updating, ill be the first to admit i feel sorry for the animals in their enclosures but i feel like that at any zoo we visit. There was a BBQ on the go outside the cafe which both served lovely food, the castle was brilliant with a bird of prey display on and some fantastic ice cream. there was the train going round the site, a sea lion feeding session and penguin which some children were helping out with. Lots of giraffes, reptiles, lions, tigers, monkeys enclosure which you can walk through. We ended up on the fair which my boys loved, My eldest was fast asleep before we left the car park. This is day out for all the family, we spent all day there i recomend it to anyone.
