I have had an Asda Store card since it was introduced and always paid the full balance by direct debit every month. My November balance was paid as normal and a week after the payment was paid I received a £12 late payment charge. On enquiry I was told not to worry about it as it was a mistake and every customer had received this charge on the 23rd Nov they sent a letter stating that the payment had been repaid to my bank, on the 29th they took the late payment charge.
The offending bank who run this card is Santander,not abank that fills one with a sense of security and by the tone of the default notice not nice people at all.
