“I am disgusted with the service I received from...”

I am disgusted with the service I received from Lastminute.com and would never book with them again. I booked flights to Edinburgh for 2 people and received a confirmation email. I telephoned to ask for a business receipt and was told on the phone that our flights had been cancelled by the airline. They made us book on exactly the same flights and pay a higher price. Our friend had booked on the same flights 2 hours after us and paid the cheaper price. When we arrived at the airport, even though they had issued us tickets and charged a higher price, we were not even booked on the flights. The airline told us Lastminute.com had never confirmed our seats. Our friend was booked and had paid the lower price. The customer services staff were not friendly and it has been all excuses with no real apology from them. I am a frequent traveller and I would never book with Lastminute.com again. I highly recommend Expedia!
