In reviewing a consumer product it is all to easy to be scathing if the product does not come up to expectation. However even with the best will in the world it is impossible not to conclude that the Hotpoint FDW60 Dishwasher is simply not fit for purpose. Even more worringly if my experience is representative of that of others then the entire service and maintenance system operated by this company is designed around maximising profit on product/s launched into the market place without proper testing.For what its worth there are numerous faults to contend with including poor control board design and reliability (EXPENSIVE), heater units that go open ciruit etc etc etc. Please do yourself a favour and buy something else.
