“I've been a member at Total Fitness (Wakefield) for...”

I've been a member at Total Fitness (Wakefield) for two years now and recently recieved a reminder that my membership will soon be up for renewal. After paying £250 last year for a 12 month student membership I was made aware that it was to be increased to £350 this year. This is an increase of 40% and I find it hard to justify.



Although there have been slight improvements in recent months(the staff finaly realised that putting out-of-order signs on broken equipment doesn't fix the problem),I don't think this warrents an increase of £100 annualy. It seems that Total Fitness have failed to take the small problem of a global recession into account before having a price hike and this is why I will most likely be going else where for my fitness needs this year.
