we switched to virgin broadband because we were promised 20 Mbps broadband, , recently it has been fluctuating between 1-5Mbps, when we contacted customer services we were told about the acceptable use policy
1.Broadband: Virgin Media offers the fastest broadband speeds widely available to UK consumers.
1.Acceptable use policy: Acceptable use policy applies. Traffic Management operates from 4pm to 9pm and 10am to 3pm to ensure a consistent user experience.
this means at peak hours when you want to download itunes etc.. you cannot download at the promised 20 Mbps (or 50Mbps) as these will automatically be switched to 1-5Mbps
and when these speeds Are available, you will have plenty of time to download anyway as you will be in bed
