I was applying for a job through 'hays' recruiting in Melbourne, and was given the incorrect details as to when and where to go for an interview. I tried to contact the recruiter to organise another time and was given the cold shoulder. The salary offered was between $70k and $90k, and I have over 10 years experience within the field I was applying for, which I thought would at least guarantee some level of service.(I guess not). I do not recommend using 'Hays" and now tell companies that I work for not to use them when looking for new staff.
