This is my honest and factual experience with Hays. It would be highly possible to mount a case against Hays for not paying holiday pay to temporary staff, and indeed even stop Hays from operating. If anyone has the time to do this I am sure they will be successful as it is against agency practice not to pay staff holiday pay, but merely deduct pay on a weekly basis from their earnings, which is not the same thing; and then to have this paid back at the end of the contract with Hays.
