Ok, I've been with Tiscali ever since I got broadband, the speed was never very fast (1MBS), but as I live well out into the countryside miles from the closest exchange this wasn't really they're fault. Signal was good never had downtime, never had cause to call customer service. Now for the down side, I've looked into changing twice in the past and was always given a cheaper deal (after much arguing), however since Talk Talk took over they've put my price up to £18 (from £8) & I still only get 1MBS. Spoke to them today and again got the option of a cheaper deal, £11. Told them I wasn't interested, it came down to £9, still not interested, 3mths free. This took 20 mins and I was pretty hacked off. Constantly had to argue to get a code, "Who am I swapping to?", "We're better", "We're cheaper", "We've got good customer service" (not on this evidence). In short technically good service, let down by poor customer srvice and rip off pricing. MAC code to follow within 5 days, I'll believe it when I see it.
