Good Points
Easy to set up. Reasonable mapping although I was directed through bus only roads.
The Bluetooth system works well.

Bad Points
Tom Tom make a lot of their PLUS services which include speed camera locations, weather forecasts and road traffic information. Since I bought my Tom Tom Go 500 the web site has not been accesible hence the services cannot be used. Their help and support telephone number is always busy and they have not replied to emails. The dealer I bought it from cannot help but confirmed my view that there after sales support is non existant. I certainly would not recomend this product at this time.

General Comments
In my view Tom Tom has grown too quickly and customer support has suffered to a non existant level. Whilst a lot of features are promissed they are currently unavailable. Before thinking about buying the product check their web site to see if the PLUS services are is up and running.
