“The Hyosung Comet's size, styling, handling and sound...”

written by loop123 on 06/05/2008

Bad Points
Looks a bit cheap around handlebars but on the other hand so does Ducati 695. Engine takes a while to warm up due to its physical size but when it does, it runs nicely keeping you ahead of cars.

General Comments
The Hyosung Comet's size, styling, handling and sound are great. I've been riding her for more than a year now. This is a proper motorbike unlike the other 3/4 size race replicas. You don't look funny on it and in addition get more respect on the road. Many times I've been asked is this really 125? It looks the job and never had any problems with it. Starts every time and when warmed up the ride is a real joy. Looks suits the engine unlike gt125r which has a looks but it just but it's performance cannot match it. Unlike some bikes you can manually switch the headlight on/off to save a battery which is a nice detail. Perfect first bike - cheap to insure and it goes for ages on a single tank of petrol. Perfect city commuter.
If you are looking for a first bike and don't want to squeeze yourself onto 3/4 size two stroke this is a perfect bike for you.
