“The Paradise Island Hotel is an excellent introduction...”

written by Craggy on 28/07/2005

Good Points
Beautiful beaches, excellent food, very clean accommodation and finally a Spa that is second to none.

Bad Points
One side of the island you can be a victim of mosquito bites. Not so much marine life compared to other islands we have visited.

General Comments
The Paradise Island Hotel is an excellent introduction the Maldives, it's one of the best holidays we've had in a long time. Excellent Spa facilities and treatments, excellent Italian restaurant. The dollar is very strong at the moment which makes this island excellent value for money. Rejuvenating Massage (includes back, shoulders neck) only $30 which is approx £17.50. Bar drinks are about the same price as here in the UK. All in all I would only recommend all-inclusive if you are extremely thirsty. Our final bill was approximately $1500 which for 2 weeks of late nights, heavy drinking and lots of spa treatment is fantastic value for money if you consider it is approx £300 extra per person to go all-inclusive.
