Have a Cash Transactor, Regular Saver and ISA with YBS. Banked with them for 3+ years. Always good until I moved and changed branches. The Internet is good, I can use my card at most cash machines.

The problem is the branch. I banked with Ilford - great service. Preston -great service. Birmingham - Poor. This branch, on 3 occasions have refused to pay out money over the counter as my signature was not as per the system. It turns out that the YBS system has my signature on there, but it is 'layered' so the old signature remains at the front.

The staff look at me with indifference in Birmingham so much so I have

decided to close my accounts. No qualms if you live in Preston or Ilford as my experience would suggest you will have no problems.
