Good Points
Great sound
Very good FM tuner
Amazing value for money

Bad Points
Pumps a lot of light into a dark bedroom.
Could do with an internal clock for bedroom use.

General Comments
I bought a TEAC CR-L600 micro system despite all the hoo ha about the Denon D31 because I originally planned to use it simply to be a good FM radio for my study and preferred the smaller footprint and more modern look of the TEAC.

As soon as I got it home I connected it to my Mission M70's and was so impressed with the detail and fast deep bass that I brought my Mission M752's upstairs for a quick comparison and there they've stayed.

This system deserves far better speakers than cheap miniature ones that come with micro systems. I then tried my Denon TU 260 tuner through it and frankly the tuner in the TEAC sounds even better! I also tried a Marantz CD63 mkII KI CD player through it which was a comparison too far I have to admit, but still the CD sound from the TEAC is very clean and really easy to listen to which is what you want for a second stereo system.

It's amazing what this little box can do, possibly the best 200 quid I've ever spent and certainly the best home entertanment purchase I've made.
