Good Points
High resolution screen (320x240), collapsable graffiti area (drops down and allows more application area), two expansion slots (Compactflash and Secure Digital), jog wheel, voice recorder
Bad Points
poor graffiti recognition, no rechargable battery pack (it's extra), relatively short battery life
General Comments
The Handera 330 is a Palm based device, with Palm os 3.5. It is based on the Palm III form factor, with a thicker body and top-flipping cover.
The larger screen size allows for more information to be displayed, especially nice with a text document, or a spreadsheet. The 330 will expand standard palm apps to fill the screen, but that can be overridden if the app doesn't take to re-sizing well.
The removable graffiti area is a nice touch, and if the app is designed to work with it, it'll allow you to use the newly found area for your app.
I found the graffiti interpreter has problems, although in all honesty, I could just be bad at writing Graffiti! Common mistakes include I enter 'e', it gets 'c', I enter 'y', it gets 't' or some other letter, the number 8 shows up as a two, etc.
I'm quite happy with it over all. check out www.handera.com for other information.
