Good Points
The game is essentially free to play, and you can now begin the game right away with a quicker than ever method of signing up. 40+ servers with hundreds of managers on each not only make it the world's biggest online football management game, but also gives this game a fantastic online community. Cat Games offer some great prizes making the game a greatly enjoyable experience, and one of the most addictive Football Management games around.

Bad Points
There are, however, some flaws in the game itself. The Manager rating system that determines the 'best' manager on a server can be manipulated since the best teams gather together in the 'premier' leagues. Spamming of the forums is a minor problem being confronted by the Forum Moderators.

General Comments
Sunday League - NB. This review is written by a fan of the game, but I have tried to keep my review as general and unbiased as possible.

Upon visiting www.sundayleague.com you are given a multitude of servers to choose from. These vary from un-sponsored servers, available on the main page, to the servers sponsored by football (Most of your teams will be available, giving you a username with your team as a domain - e.g. User@Arsenal) teams and companies. All servers have different prizes ranging from DVD players, Mp3 players and Games Consoles to copies of new games and replica football jerseys (more commonly found on the team sponsored servers).

Signing up to your new team is easy. Simply fill out a small, quick registration form and you're ready to get playing! You will be given a squad of 20 players, with which you will experience all the toils and triumphs of every real manager such as injures, suspensions, winning the league and competing in various cups as you take your bunch of inexperienced part-timers to a full squad of seasoned champions! Your players are fully customisable! You can choose names and faces for you players, giving you the freedom to name your team after your mates, or your footballing heroes!

Playing the game itself is a progressive ride from an easy start in a low league to a tactical master class in the top flight. The basic tactics allow a rock/paper/scissors equilibrium that all new managers must learn and can use to achieve glory early on in their league career. As you progress up to the top leagues, the quality of your opposition improves and forces you to use 'Advanced tactics' to try and outwit your tougher opponents. By this time other tactical choices will come to light which add depth to the game - e.g., The weather report says it's going to be raining! Should you play a passing game on a muddy pitch?

In real football, Cups are important to every team. Sunday League offers you lots of different cups, each with different qualification rules and prizes (for example, The Champions Shield is a free-to-enter cup for every team on the server who have won their league in the previous season.) If you become an accomplished enough manager to win a cup, you will receive a prize ranging from 1000 to 5000 credits with the additional prize of a terrific Sunday League goody bag for the tougher cups!

The Game is maintained very well. The Sunday League staff has worked hard to compile many help facilities, such as an FAQ that answers almost every question you could have and a super quick, reliable feedback service. The game itself runs very smoothly and glitches/bugs are few and far between.

This game is highly addictive and a real hoot to play, but many people stay for the terrific community created by the forums. There are local server-specific forums where you can discuss match results and participate in a bit of friendly banter. Then there are centralised forums where you can ask questions about the workings of the game, discuss strategy tips and talk about a topic of general interest. With such a vast amount of people, you are bound to find someone interesting you can talk to, and integrate yourself into the community.

This game is truly fun to play and is bolstered by the community it has spawned. With such a great structure, huge game depth, and a nationally loved theme, it's no wonder this is the World's biggest online management game! Good Luck!
