Good location; wide range of facilities; mostly smart decor; mostly friendly clientele; open late
Pricey; very noisy; full up at peak times; some obvious housekeeping issues need attention
Upscale modern gym in three-level building right in the centre of town. Good range of weight machines and free weights; lots of classes; smallish swimming pool; various other facilities. Pricey, for sure - if you are considering joining then you either have a corporate deal or are feeling flush. Or perhaps you'll just be very keen to get fit and get your money's worth!
The gym is certainly at capacity on weekday evenings, but then only for a couple of hours; varying your visiting times is a distinct advantage. Less user attitude than I have found at some other gyms. I haven't spotted any supposed "celebs" but then I probably wouldn't recognise them anyway. Generally, it's a good workout experience but staff do seem a bit indifferent and there are some niggling housekeeping issues (showers need overhauling etc) which really should be sorted, especially given the "best gym in London" publicity material. Also the music on the main floor is often painfully loud and I agree the spin classes should really be in a separate studio (presumably prevented by space restrictions).
I like Third Space at the moment, but am not wholly convinced I'll renew next year.
