Twice I have had the displeasure of having to deal with DPD . And twice the incompetent driver has given me wrong time . The first dealings with them I gave up after the third non delivery and had to collect it over a half hour away which is exactly why I paid for delivery. The second I was given a time frame and unfortunately I had to go out of the house for and hour but luckily it was nowhere near the specified time so I left only to come back to a flyer saying "sorry we missed you" and instead of the driver trying to contact me or leaving it with a neighbour as it stated on their site that's what they do, my package was sent back to the depot. Well I wasn't going through this again and called the customer service . Well the girl Orla was although very apologetic wasn't very helpful. After I stated I wouldn't be home between a certain time and collection was out of the question the only other option I was given was to try again tomorrow and maybe if I'm unavailable a neighbour could take it. Well as I am not overly familiar with the timetables and said as much I was given no other choice. So my delivery is now in the hands of the incompetent and I have my doubts of it being delivered.
