General Comments
The main problems with Phuket Air are the age of the aircraft and the type of passengers that fly with them.

The aircraft appear to be hand-me-downs from bigger airlines, and are showing the signs of age. The reading lights, cabin call, and tv were not working in our section of the aircraft. Many of the seat arms were torn. Some of the overhead panels were taped into place. Some seats recliners were broken, so reclined too far! Not good for the person behind!

The low fares offered by Phuket Air seems to attract a loutish element (from the UK, at least). On the return flight one passenger had to be pratically carried onto the plane as he was so drunk! This would be fine for a couple of hours, but when you have to spend 16 hours listening to 'lads' and 'ladettes' as they get steadily more drunk and louder it is not a happy place to be.

This is a shame, as the staff are excellent, and would more than make up for the problems with the age of the aircraft. Unfortunately, I don't think I would choose to use Phuket Air again.
