“Where to begin.. ”

Where to begin..

1. flight cancelled (these things happen, I know), but only after keeping us all waiting for HOURS.

2. only ONE PERSON at the desk to serve the WHOLE AIRPLANE full of passengers, many, like us, desperate to get somewhere on time. ONE PERSON!!!

3. we thought we'd be ahead of the game and call Delta's customer service to try and re-book on another flight or airline. Told that there wasn't another flight. But then we found one on American on our own! When we told the agent on the phone about these flights, she then said she had booked us, and gave us a confirmation number. We rushed to the American gate, joyful that we would make it to our conference on time. Guess what? We weren't on it, and it was full!!! We finally arrived ONE DAY LATE!

4. So, my friend has PAID for her checked bag, and guess what? It's LOST! It took Delta 3 days to find it - it had gone on the American flight, without us, but they INSISTED they had taken it off. She got it on the last afternoon of the conference, as we were leaving, but only after MANY, MANY phone calls. How nice of them.



I'm still fuming. This is NOT about airplane/flight cancellations. This is about poor, incompetent customer service. I will NEVER fly Delta again.
