“A useful alternative for winter washing”

I bought Optimum No rinse wash and wax to use during the winter when the hose/pressure washer is not an option. I have to admit that before use I used a garden pressure sprayer with some snow foam solution on the bottom portion of my car and let it stand for 5 mins. I used the two bucket method with a micro fibre cloth for washing. I think a wash Mit would soak up too much of the wash solution and be wasteful. I made up the wash solution as per the instructions. I started on the roof and washed and dried one panel at a time. The wash solution feels quite slippy as the cloth is moved across the body work. Even on a cold day like today (5'C) I dried the car easily. I washed a small hatchback with 10l of wash solution. I reckon 15l would be required for larger vehicles. This is my 1st wash with this product and so far I think it will be good to use in the colder months.
