Good Points
Easy language, good and topical scientific coverage, entertaining section for young kids.
Bad Points
Printing not up to the mark, needs to be more colourful.
General Comments
Science Reporter - This monthly popular science magazine from India provides a good package of scientific information from round the world. Informative articles and entertaining short columns make for interesting reading. Its highlight is that it encourages new writers--both young and old. I have rarely found authors being repeated in subsequent issues which means new writers are being encouraged.
The language is easy and lucid. Although the magazine has quite a few illustrations, there is enough scope for much better and greater numbers of photographs to make it more appealing. Printing also needs to be improved.
Even then it could be the best science magazine in the subcontinent.
