“We have had a Vango Diablo 600 for over 5 years....”

written by trewhi on 06/06/2009

Good Points
Geodesic considering large size, wind does not cause a problem. Stands firm and does not bend.

Bad Points
Lack of hanging points for clothes etc inevitable on a tent with no rigid internal poles. However, large floor space means that 'really usefull' boxes can be used without causing obstructions.

General Comments
We have had a Vango Diablo 600 for over 5 years. Adolescent daughter and pubescent son mean that we are having to upgrade to a 900! Otherwise we would never have changed it. I spend a lot of time on campsites as a DofE Award leader and I have yet to see a tent that I would swap for the Vango Diablo.

Excellent in poor weather (Dumfries & Gales away!). As a family of four on holiday we are usually joined by elderly relations during the day and even in inclement weather we are easily and comfortably accommodated.
