The reason my family and I choose THY for our trip was the price. I read some negative reviews about the airline before I made a booking but the price was quite attractive, and we were on a very tight budget. We flew with Qantas from Melbourne to Singapore where we boarded the THY for a 12 hour long trip to Istanbul, and then changed the plane for a 2 hr flight to Zagreb, Croatia. I was very pleased with the leg room, the service, the touch screen entertainment and the food. I could even say it was better than Qantas. Certainly the leg room was much-much better then QF! I would certainly recommend THY.
