First off yes it removes hair!, It doesn't smell as bad as it did years ago when my mother use to use it... (and boy it was bad back then!)
I did a skin test as advised because I had not used the previously other branded named version for over 15 years (I'm in my 30's) and I had no reaction to the skin test. Two days later I used the cream on my underarms the Sensitive one (blue tube) left it on for the desired five minutes and there was no burning or anything. Then it came to removing it, it's rather awkward with the little plastic pink razor which digs into the skin and which means the product is left on longer. I estimate the product in all was on for around 8 minutes or so by which time my underarms where in a great deal of pain, on fire and red. I thought I was having an allergic reaction to the product, but the next day I realised that it was in fact a chemical burn which was confirmed by a nurse at the NHS walk in centre. I'm now in the process of making a complaint to the manufacturer. Three days on my arms are red raw and blistered and weeping.
