When is Samsonite not Samsonite? Answer: most of the time now. The old brand that you used to trust and respect is no more. The label is contracted out to cheap unknown third party companies that import substandard merchandise mostly from China.

I bought a Samsonite label travel accessory: a key chain with a flashlight. It stopped working as a flashlight, and when I contacted Samsonite, they referred me to a company called EB Brands. EB Brands claimed (to me and to Samsonite, which subsequently refused to review my complaint any further), that they sent me a replacement (which never arrived) and then they claimed they sent me a second replacement--which never arrived either. Who is kidding whom? DON'T BUY SAMSONITE.
