I bought a Samsonite "Rolling Tote". Given the reputation of Samsonite and its "Lifetime Warrantry" I thought this would be a good buy. No way. After 4 months of light use, the extendable handle broke. I need the bag all the time. Samsonite said it would take 3 weeks to repair and did not care at all about my circumstances.



Further, although the guarantee clearly states they will repair and deliver to me, they insist that the guarantee means that I must go to the shop to pick the repaired item. I have now filed a complaint with the Hong Kong governement consumer council (the bag was bought in Hong Kong).
