Good Points
Friendly atmosphere, with a large selection of food and drink available. Large outdoor area with plenty of room to sit and enjoy the sun whilst the kids run around outside

Bad Points
Not really a 'family' orientated pub, but they do accommodate for children. Can get incredibly busy on a Sunday

General Comments
We have been going to the Shepherd and Dog for a number of years. We go back because of the friendly atmosphere and the quality of food. Yes, on a sunday it can be busy, but the food is well worth the wait. Be prepared for a wait at busy times on a sunday, but the wait will be worth it
