“Non existent customer service training”

Accepted an offer of a quote from a door to door salesman as he was quite insistant albeit friendly. I said he was welcome to pop something through the letterbox.
Stupidly passed on my phone number. The following day I was harassed with calls from Smiths every half hour, with no voicemail to inform me who was calling. Feel this was totally inappropriate as like most people I work and am not able to pick up my phone.
I finally picked up the phone and a very rude female who failed to introduce herself started to talk to me. I asked who it was as I was extremely annoyed by the amount of nuisance calls by the same number 'yeah, cos you've got an appointment'.
I said I did not, and that I was no longer interested in the quote.
I then got shouted at down the phone, and got a string of sarcastic comments about wasting their time, before being hung up on.

When I do want anything doing, definitely won't be using them. Absolutely astounded at the unprofessional way they seem to conduct business. I would never dream of speaking to anyone so rudely in my job. More training required, as I would have kept them in mind for the future had a voicemail been left, and I was able to talk to someone sensible.
