“Nightmare fit.. Do buy from Wren”

Ordered Wren kitchen from Guildford branch in July, All design & dates ok as I had a deadline of September 12th for all to be finished as I had foreign lodgers arriving to stay with me, Everything good until the installation on August 15th, only one fitter spoke any English, appalling workmanship, blown plaster on walls, old back boxes not plastered in after my electrician even wrote on wall because they didn't understand.It was so bad most of the kitchen had to be taken out and re-ordered and re fitted by another team or should I say 1 guy.. Had a house full of kitchen boxes, tools and had to decamp to friends for 3 nights as I have no where to sit or eat. Numerous calls, text, emails, time off work. Mostly ignored by the so called service manager. I ended up dealing with a service clerk. It took 2 lots of pelmets before they got the correct ones. 3 faulty sinks, which I had to get a local handyman to fit in the end as the fitter arranged three times to come and didn't turn up. mis-measured worktop due to poor under cabinet fitting had to be re measured and fitted three weeks after the rest. A 3 week fit turned into 8 weeks. Student lodgers arrived September 12th and we had no sink or water and the fitter was still there finishing off until 30th September. Wren just not bothered, just blamed the sink manufacturer. Reading some of the reviews I think I'm quite lucky as it is now finished but let's see how it wears, but still waiting for some compensation, money spent using a local tradesman to fit the sink and three year guarantee on the plasterwork from the fitters company...Just so stressful and I wish I had never had it done..
