“Total rip off”

Just arrived back after 5 days in Malaga hired a car through Economy car rental who were a broker for Delpaso £32.00 for 4 days hire we thought that's a good deal, we hire cars in the USA twice a year and have been doing so for the last 20 years so we thought it would be the same, WRONG !!! after arriving at the vehicle collection point and witnessing several people trying unsuccessfully to argue about phantom scratches on their car after returning it I began to get a little concerned, got to the desk very pressured into taking out extra insurance (61.00 euros) extra handling charge (30.00Euros) fuel charge for a car with a tank capacity of 50 litres (70.00 euros), filling charge ? (19.00 euros) extra driver (20.00 euros) so all in all it cost us 230.00 euros for a 4 year old Opel Astra with 77500 kilometres on the clock that was well passed it's sell by date, on reflection we could have hired an almost new car from a reputable company at the airport for the same cost or less, (is it me or do I feel Brexeted ) goodbye Spain we will stick to the states in future.
