I have had car insurance through Bewiser for 3 years and house insurance for two, and they have definitely gone downhill in the last year. Frequently kept waiting for 20 minutes + for customer services, people don't ring you back, call centre staff seem poorly trained etc. I renewed a home insurance policy recently and after a couple of weeks they contacted me to verify that I wouldn't be taking my bicycle away from home. They didn't seem to understand that a bicycle is supposed to be taken out.They ended up sending me an insurance cancellation letter but they don't want to refund the premium. I can feel the start of a CCJ coming on - that normally works.
