I was given almost no notice that my 'next day delivery' was taking place 6 Sept.I had to ask at very short notice to take a days hoilday, As TNT would not provide a time slot or even AM or PM. I waited in all day and it FAILED TO ARRIVE on that named day.
I phoned up to see what had happened to my parcel, I was advised that the TNT driver could not find my address? my house has been in existance for over 46 years and we gave the full address complete with our postcode.
I understand that the TNT drivers are not issued with SAT NAV according to thier main office.I understand by TNT that the TNT Driver did not have Sat Nav.
What I would like to know when is TNT going to join the rest of us in the world who have Sat Nav as a essential tool for locating places for deliveries. I would have expected a so called professional company like TNT or the Driver making the deliveries to use this technology. I do not believe it for one second, I will say that someone is telling porky pies and trying to take the micky out of one of thier customers who waited in for a full 10 hours without them delivering the item.
I would let you be the judge of the evidence provided.
Amazon are looking at using drones to deliver items!!!
received letter from TNT dated 13 Sept.with thier ref. which will confirm the full facts and TNT confirms that they dont provide SAT NAV to thier drivers and this driver did not have access to Sat Nav. hence he returned back to base with my parcel.
