They cancelled my booking the day before travel, informing me by email only and not phoning me direct to explain the situation. Apparently my car was not available but rather than providing a different car they simply cancelled the booking. When I contacted them to find out what was happening the customer service was unhelpful and tried to tell me it was my fault. They then told me it was too late to book a different car as more than 24hrs notice was required. I ask to be put through to complaints department but this was not possible. I asked to speak to the manager who was then meant to call me back but never did.
