I ordered a printer from Argos as they say they do same day delivery, and I needed it urgently, as I wanted to scan some documents to apply for a job.
But, it was available only an afternoon slot next day, so I booked that one...The next day they sent me two messages to confirm that they would arrive until 6 pm. However, on 5.30 pm they said they are not coming anymore...
When I called them they were very rude on the telephone. They were lying and didn’t helped at all. When I asked to speak with the manager she asked me to wait at my home, as they would send me the item with a taxi...
I was waiting all the day at home, but nobody arrived...
I lost the deadline to apply for an important job. Their behavior was totally unacceptable, rude, unprofessional, irresponsible, and offensive.
I’m very disappointed because I trusted that Argos would be a reliable shop...but, it wasn’t at all!!!
I don’t think I’ll buy anything from them again...Also, I will speak with the “consumers rights helpline” to get an advice about this unacceptable incident and all the damage related to it...
