“Terrible customer service”

Do not ever book anything with Opodo.

I booked a trip involving 3 flights with them for a total of £460 each. One connecting flight was cancelled by Emirates and there was not a suitable choice given to us for an alternative flight.

The Customer Service from Opodo is appalling. We had to call them and tell them that the flight had been cancelled and then they refused to provide a suitable alternative. They said that we either had to do a 10 hour wait in Dubai airport or we might get a refund, which would be paid in 3 months. I dont know about anyone else - but I dont have a spare £1000 lying around as a comfort blanket.

The call centre is abysmal. I have been put through to a call centre in India every time I have called. Nobody appears to understand my problem and just keeps passing me between colleagues and not passing on information to them, meaning I have to explain the whole situation again.

I sit here today having been told to complain by e-mail to Opodo, which I have done. I asked for a call from senior management in Barcelona Head Office. I waited 7 days for a response. When it arrived, it said that they were sorry that the flight had been cancelled from 'DOHA-BAHRAIN'. I was not even travelling from Doha - I was travelling from Dubai. They then proceeded to offer me other flights from Doha. Unbelievable.

I replied questioning their intelligence levels and asked again for a call from Head Office. I have not received a response or a call.

I am due to travel in 3 weeks. I am truly appalled. Dont book with them - dont let this happen to you
