“The customer service is terrible.”

We've used this company several times for regular deliveries of dog food and toys. Whilst the prices on the site are very good there are a few issues that have arisen.

The times quoted for their dispatch and delivery are just plain incorrect. Nine times out of ten when you order before their cut off point for next day delivery the order doesn't even get packed that same day. Then delivery can be up to 48 hours later. Now I'm no genius with mathematics but I can easily work out that this is not Next Day Delivery as quoted on their site. Sure, you get the delivery usually within the week but say that rather than lying blatantly and claiming the food will be with you the following day.

Also, during one order I added an extra item to my delivery that was also part of the free gift scheme. On the website you could order these items separately so decided to get more as I liked the product. When my delivery arrived I had only been sent one item, the one I had paid for was missing.

When I called The Pet Express I was treated like a second class citizen. Told that these products were not meant to be on the website and almost told that it was my fault this had happened. I'm not impressed at that kind of attitude. You cannot call that customer service, more like customer abuse. The product was listed on the website at the price I paid.
