“9 K gold ear rings change colour”

I purchased a pair of 9 K yellow gold ear rings. After only using it a few times and the rest of the time it was in the jewelry box. To my disappointment the ear rings looks bronze in color. I sent it back to them as advised.

However, when I contacted the customers service.I was told that it will cost me £15 to clean. I refused to pay. How can a gold change color. I am aware that its loses its shine but not change color.
The item was posted back to me in the same condition.
I am very disappointed.

Not only that, their gold covering items too change color very quickly. I bought a 14 k gold covering bracelet and not use it but the color tarnished while it was still in the box.

The customer service staff keep telling me that I should take care if it. How could I take care of it when I have not even use it. They were going to charge but after a long argument they did it for free.

This is not the only items but I have experienced with all the gold covering jewelries. So Just be aware that their gold covering jewelries change color or tarnished quickly.

I have decided not to buy anymore jewelries from them.
