“Steer Clear of Goldstar”

Booked and pre-paid for a car with extra insurance with Do You Italy. At the airport after queuing for an age at the GOLDCAR desk was told my British license was not acceptable and was refused a car. The woman at the desk was the rudest we'd ever come across. Went to another car hire firm at the airport and was told Goldcar did this to people regularly as they did not have sufficient cars. It took many weeks of persistent calls, emails, etc. to get my money refunded. I would advise that you DO NOT USE.
