“First and Last!”

Dead, dried up flowers delivered on the wrong day. On complaining to customer services was told two different stories as to why this had happened. To cut a long story short DPD made no attempt to deliver the flowers on the correct day and when confronted lied about it, stating firstly that "roadworks had prevented them getting to the delivery address" and then "the delivery was refused" (There were no roadworks and how is it possible to refuse a delivery that isn't there?)
Had ordered the flowers for my mums birthday and was so disappointed with the service. You assume that a well known company like Debenhams would be a safe option but I will never use them again. They have offered a refund but have yet to reimburse us.
